Treasure Chest Pets Success/ Failure Story

Treasure Chest Pets Update

Season 1 of the shark tank
Lisa Lloyd looking very determined to get
A Deal on the Shark Tank Season 1 Show
While searching the Shark Tank Season 1 List looking for another incredible Success Story, I found something much different. A successful deal with the Sharks that ends in Failure. How could you give up a majority stake in your business to two Sharks and then watch your invention get taken over by the competition? There is quite a lot to the Treasure Chest Pet's Story and Lisa Lloyd's rise to the Top of becoming one of Shark Tank's most successful entrepreneur's, despite her product ending in failure.

Lisa Lloyd had no intentions of going on this new Show called The Shark Tank. In fact She never even heard of this new Reality Show for Entrepreneur's that was already casting for the very first season for almost a year. As fate would have it, Lisa was one of the very last people to get her product to the producer's on the very last day. Clearly Lisa was no amateur taking an idea to the market having already sold over million's with other inventions, which most likely helped Her stand out in the producers eyes.Read More Here-->>>

Shark Tank Season 5

Season 5 of the Shark Tank Show

Premieres Friday September 20, 2013 on ABC
Season 5 Sharks
Great news Shark Tank Fans! ABC has finally announced Season 5 of the Shark Tank Show will start in two months on 9/20/2013. Many people had predicted (including myself) the show would be moved this season to a more preferred time slot and a different day of the week with more potential viewers watching.

As it turns out the Shark Tank will keep it's familiar time slot @ 9 P.M. (eastern) on Friday Night's where it has dominated the rating's most of last season. I'm not sure why they would choose to keep one of their most Successful Shows on probably the worst night of the week, but then again new episodes have even made me change my plans to accommodate that time.

I would imagine having the Shark Tank air on Friday Night's instead of any other night of the week is might be that viewers have all weekend to visit the contestants websites.

Shark Tank Books

Books Written by the Sharks on the Shark Tank Show

Books written by the Shark Tank Investors  It really is amazing how reading the "right book's" can change your life forever. I can still remember when I was given my first copy of "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, when I was only 14 years old and just won an award for a MLM company I was involved with. When I was walking off the stage, one of the highest ranking associates in the room handed me his copy of the book and simply said "I believe this belongs to you". Not really being much of a reader before that time, I must of read it cover to cover at least a dozen times until the pages started falling out.

Yes, a good book really can change your life even if it's only a single new idea that triggers something in your mind to think a little differently. That one new way of thinking that may be the very road block keeping you from where you "really" want to go. Finding a mentor in the types of books you read can pay huge dividends IF you choose to take their advise and learn what made them successful.

If your a Shark Tank Fan and love learning about the Sharks and what it took them to get to the top in their professions, then what better way too learn then reading their books. Now if your a future contestant on the Shark Tank or have any plans of doing so, then this could also be considered required reading to learn as much about your future business partner(s). It really is in your best interest to learn as much about all the Shark's as you can before going on the Show.Read More Here-->>>

Sharks on the Shark Tank Season 4

Who's your Favorite Shark on the Shark Tank?

season 4 shark tank show
Who's Your Favorite Shark On The
Shark Tank Show?
So who is your favorite Shark from the Shark Tank? Mine? This year's show was quite different from the other seasons and as a result my opinion may have changed changed just a bit. Right now I would have to say it's both Daymond John (He's the only Shark that Follows us on Twitter) and Lori Greiner who has been very active talking and re-tweeting about the Shark Tank Success Blog. I Do Very Much Appreciate them giving their approval for this blog. A little biased in my opinion? We'll maybe just a little :') But it's hard to argue they both have made some terrific deals this past season and every contestant that I can find that made deals with either of them, are very happy indeed.

If I was to choose who I would most like to make a deal with

Shell Bobbers

Shotgun Shell Bobber's on the Shark Tank

Fishing Ammo - Season 4 - Episode 422 - 4/26/2013
Season 4, episode 422

The Shell Bobber was just featured on the Sportsmen Shopping Network last summer when it was compared with a traditional round fishing bobber. This super cool new bobber invented by Jeff Stafford, was made out of a shotgun shell and became an instant hit. Jeff thought they were prepared for the orders for their new fishing invention but instead the shell bobber's completely sold out within 5 minutes. I have to admit after watching this video, I never want to use one of those pain in the ass traditional bobbers again. Just the shear ease of taking it on and off your fishing line is definently worth the price to have a few of these in your tackle box.

Here's a 1 minute video that will convince all hard core sportsmen they need to use the Shot Gun Shell Bobber. Yes, Fishing and Beer usually do make for the perfect fishing trip!

Stella Valle Jewelry

Stella Valle on the Shark Tank

Custom Jewelry - Season 4 - Episode 423 - 4/19/2013
Stella Valle on the Shark tank season 4, episode 423
Ashley Jung and Paige Dellavalle
Creaters of the Stella Valle Collection
The Stella Valle is a jewely line inspired by two West Point Cadet Army Officers and Sisters Paige Dellavalle and Ashley Jung. The two very close sister's completed their commitment to our country back in 2009 and started the Stella Valle jewelry Line to compliment the more edgier side the military usually brings out in you. Transforming back to civilion life after years in the service takes time for anyone that has gone through the proccess. Helping to bring back their feminine side, but not forget where they came from, is what the Stella Valle Jewelry Line is all about.

Ashley and Paige also have two other sisters that are still in the military but apperantly not in the Stella Valle Business just yet as they are both still on active duty. Can you imagine having four daughters all in the military? I'm assuming atleast one of their parents was also in the military for all four girls to devote themselves to our country but there is no mention that I can find to support this. Either way, it's a great beginning for another Success Story after millions of people (and thousands of Vets) learn about the Stella Valle Jewelry Line on the Shark Tank Show.

The Spatty Daddy

The Spatty on Shark Tank Show

The Spatty Daddy - Season 4 - Episode 405 - Update

Seen on the Shark Tank Show
Cheryl Rigdon demonstrating the Spatty
on the Shark Tank Show
Cheryl Rigdon is the inventor of the Spatty, one of the simplest yet most useful products ever seen on the Shark Tank Show. The inspiration to develop the Spatty actually came inside of a make-up jar when she realized how much she was wasting by not getting it all to come out. A problem each and every one of us has had dealing with a number of different containers. The Spatty and The Spatty Daddy can actually pay for themselves in no time.

Cheryl came into the Shark Tank with a great idea but she lacked the needed contacts to bring her invention to the world. She was only asking for $50,000.00 and was willing to give up 40% of the new business to have a partnership with one or more of the Sharks. Rigdon gives a good presentation on the many products that most people throw away because it is nearly impossible to get it all out of the containers. She then whips out this little 3" long Spatty and the larger Spatty Daddy used for larger containers.

Power Decal's

Power Decal on Shark Tank Show

Wireless Light Up Power Decals - Season 1 - Episode 15 - Update

Make a deal with Daymond John on Shark Tank Show The Power Decal is one of those inventions that you just know will succeed if marketed and licensed properly. A peel off sticker that lights up from a solar power source, ya that's a cool invention alright. George Podd and Rolf Schwartz went into the Shark Tank very confident with their product they called Light Film that has since been renamed and re-branded as Power Decal. The Power Decal has a motion sensor built into the light up decal which brightly displays the sticker.

George Podd and Rolf Schwartz was asking $100k for a 5% stake in their patented Power Decals which put the valuation at $2 million. They demonstrated a generation 1 Power Decal that was hooked up to a wired power source (a battery) to light up the peel and stick sticker. They quickly pointed out that the generation 2 Power Decals would be wireless and solar powered which got a lot more interest from the Sharks. Podd, the inventor of the Power Decal, had zero in sales and has already sank $750k into this invention. They can make the generation 2 Power Decals for $5 or less and retail's for $19.99 which is a decent profit margin in any ones book.  Everything is ready to go and all they need is the licensing deals to make the Power Decal a huge success.

Qubits 2.0 Update

Qubits on Shark Tank Show

Season 1 - Episode 14 - Update

Mark Berginger on Shark Tank Season One
Mark Burginger with the New
Qubits 2.0 Geometric Design Toy
The Qubit's Toy Company is like the Lego's of the 21st century. Sure I played with Lego's when I was a kid, who hasn't? You could build anything you could imagine just so long as it could be made using one of those familiar pieces. I even remember ordering a Lego-Like product from an infomercial for my kid's several years ago. The pieces were made with several more options of building blocks to choose from but also included very small pieces and not age appropriate for them at that time. I  however did try to build a few thing's with my kid's new toy :). I liked the idea of having new pieces to stretch my imagination, but because of the geometric designs and the long pencil-like connectors, it reminded me of building a house of card's and ready to collapse at any time.

Qubit's is a lego-like product  Mark Burginger, the inventor of Qubit's Toy's, had a totally new concept to compete with the Lego's of the world.

Litter Jewelry

Litter Jewelry on Shark Tank

Custom Jewelry - Season 3 - Episode 3 Update

Mackenzie Burdick and Rachael Mann
Lady Gaga Wearing The  Litter Jewelry Brand
Now That Will Get Some Attention, Every time!
What makes Litter Jewelry such a unique business to be featured on the Shark Tank Show is the fact that each and every piece of jewelry is one of-a-kind. The two sister's, Mackenzie Burdick and Rachael Mann, were the sole designer's for the entire collection of the Litter Jewelry Line. They have quite a successful story to tell that all started from a picture posted on a blog that just so happened to have one of their hair pieces made from an old necklace. The two sister's received an invitation to participate in a Jewelry Show featuring their unique designs. The Show was such a huge success that they decided to start their own line "Litter Jewelry" and start getting serious about combining their passion into a business.

The two sister's came up with a brand new style within the jewelry fashion consisting of head bands, leg jewelry and even jewelry worn around your ankle. From a guy's perspective, I must say, it really makes your eyes focus on

Shark Tank Episode 414

Shark Tank Show Episode 414

1-11-2013

This Fridays Shark Tank Show feature's one of the most successful inventions that has ever raised money on Kickstarter.com. In fact, episode 414 will be featuring two of the four contestant's who raised additional seed money using the Kickstarter platform. It seems to becoming a big part of the Shark Tank theme to pick successful campaign's that overwhelmingly raise more money on Kickstarter.com then their initial goals. If you need to raise fund's for your business and have been thinking of trying out for the Shark Tank Show, but have not tried to raise capital from a crowd funding site just yet, you may want to take this into consideration before applying. Keep your goal reasonable with a fair amount of certainty that you can crush those numbers which will certainly add to the credibility to your product.

Coffee Joulies

A very good case study that will be on the Shark Tank this Friday Night is Coffee Joulies. Less then two years ago, two guy's by the name of Dave, started a simple Kick Starter Campaign to help keep your coffee warmer for a longer time. A little over a Month later their campaign ended with over $300k in start-up capital. These guy's have already proven there is a big demand for their invention which will give them a very good edge when they go into the Shark Tank. Look for more of a strategic partnership then just an investment of money coming from the Sharks. This is one product I would like to try for myself.

Daymond John and Kevin O'Leary
Daymond John battling it out with Kevin O'Leary
on the Shark Tank Show
Daymond John is what one would call a true inspiration to all entrepreneur's. A real life inspiration to anyone with an idea and the guts to make it a reality. Daymond got the entrepreneur bug while still in High School participating in a co-op program. After a handful of businesses, John got his first inspiration for FUBU when wool hats with the cut off tops were still popular. Having a flare for style, Daymond made 80
hats and took them to the New York Coliseum where he could find a large audience that he was marketing to. Long story short, Daymond John sold his hats for half the price of the competition and sold out in record time making him $800 on the very first day.
