The Swilt

The Swilt on Shark Tank Update

Sweater + Quilt = The Swilt
sweater plus a quilt equal a Swilt
Ivori Tennelle Inventor of The Swilt Sweater
What do you get when you combine a sweater and a quilt? Why you get The Swilt invented by Ivori Tennelle. You wear The Swilt just like a sweatshirt which converts into a head-to-toe blanket in seconds. In addition, Ivori has included foot pockets with water resistant nylon material making this sweater plus a quilt quite an interesting invention.

Ivori Tennelle came into the Shark Tank asking $30,000.00 in exchange for a 35% equity stake in The Swilt Business. At that time she's only sold 100 units in the local marketplace but wants to expand the Business online and needs the Sharks help optimizing the Website.

Personally I like this idea and can see a big demand from Mom's sitting on the sideline's during a cold sports event. But I also see a bigger market than keeping The Swilt defined in such a narrow niche. For instance if one was made with a water proof/ wind proof outer lining that was made more like a jacket than a sweater. Outdoor enthusiasts would love this idea as an excellent addition to their Survival Pack when weight and bulk is always an issue. If you have ever spent an unexpected night or two in the woods, (I have) then it's easy to see a product such as The Swilt would be a great item to always have just in case. Read More Here-->>>

Business Ghost

Business Ghost Writer Shark Tank Update

Michael Levin on Shark Tank Season 3
Michael Levin demonstrates the Business Ghost Writers Business
Seen on the Shark Tank Show in Season 3.
Michael Levin is perhaps a Top Selling Author you most likely have never heard of. Levin is the owner of Business Ghost writing services that helps you get your story told in a professional manner. If you have a great idea for a book, the Business Ghost services will organize your ideas, design your cover, publish your book and even help market the finished product.

At the time of the Business Ghost appearance on the Shark Tank, Michael has 8 other ghost writer's working on a number of book deals. The cost for having your book ghost written with a final product can run as high as $75,000.00 per project. The Business Ghost Business is on track to gross $700k this year alone.

Levin came into the Shark Tank seeking $200,000.00 for a 10% equity stake in His Ghost Writing Services. Kevin O'Leary is very impressed with Michael's writing services and compliment's him for making a profit that most writers never achieve, but is skeptical if this could be turned into a very profitable long term business. Barbara Corcoran seems to think Michael is getting tired of the Business Ghost Business and is looking for someone else to run the company. Mark Cuban questions the entire book publishing business as more print goes digital. Daymond John thinks if He invests in the business, getting His investment back will end up more like a mystery book. In the end Business Ghost was unable to get any offers from the Sharks and no deal was made.

The Nitro Force

Nitro Force on Shark Tank Update

Portable Home Gym Update from Season 3
Seen on the Shark Tank Season 3
The Titan 1000 Home Gym
W/ 100 Exercises and
1000 Lbs. of weight
The NitroForce Company sells the popular Titan 1000 developed by Fitness Experts Frank Campitelli & Debrae Barensfeld. With a combined 30 years in the fitness industry they built the lightest and most powerful home gym on the market. With just a single Titan 1000 you have over 100 exercises to choose from using up to 1000 pounds of total resistance.

Frank and Debrae came into the Shark Tank looking for a $250k investment in exchange for 10% equity stake in the NitroForce.com Business. At the time of the airing in Season 3, they have only sold 12 home gyms for $1300 and a grand total of $15,600 in sales. In part how Campitelli and Barensfield justify the $2.5 million valuation is the fact they have 90 more home gyms in a warehouse and ready to be sold.

This just might be the greatest home exercise gym in the world, but putting such a high valuation on Nitro Force when its entire sales is what Mark Cuban spends on a night on the town, didn't seem to get any of the Sharks to take a bite at the business. Some folks choose to use the Shark Tank Show just as much as the Shark Tank uses them. I'm not saying this is the case here, but if you wanted to get on the Show and had no interest in making a deal, these numbers would probably do it every single time.

Shark Tank Season 3, episode 308
Rent-A-Grandma
Rent A Grandma back then because I'm sure we both would of been a lot more relaxed having a more experienced babysitter when he was still a baby.
Now here's a novel idea that could fulfill a much needed service when you are trusting someone with your most prized possession, your Kid's. I distinctly remember the very first time we hired a baby sitter when my son was only 7 months old. We must of called no less than a half a dozen times before we finally cut the night short and came home early. I sure wish we had a

Todd Colby Pliss must of had a similar experience for him to come up with the Rent A Grandma Business Opportunity. It was such a unique idea combining Grandma's with parents looking for a responsible babysitter, he already had 50 Grandma's on the books and ready to rent out.

Pliss and one of his hired Grandma's came into the Shark Tank looking for a $150k investment in exchange for 20% of the Rent-A-Grandma Franchise Opportunity. His flagship store is located in Los Angeles, Ca. which all Grandma's are also certified cookie makers and always eager to bake a fresh batch of cookies. Kim Nelson on Shark Tank
Kim Nelson came into the Shark Tank asking for $50k for 25% equity in her cake business valuing the company at $200,000.00. Kim wasted no time in getting her greatest asset (a sample of her Daisy Cakes) into the mouth's of the Sharks. Every single male Shark had the same impression, all followed by, WOW. All the Daisy Cakes use only the best ingredient's from an old secret family recipe that has been passed down from Her Great Aunt, named Daisy. What makes the Daisy Cakes so unique other then the ability to have the Sharks all say wow while each trying a different type of cake, is Nelson's ability to ship the Daisy Cakes in the mail nation wide. In a specially made tin, Kim packs the cakes in dry ice and ships them right to your door.

How much does a Daisy Cake Cost?

Nelson says a Daisy Cake's cost $44.50 from her website which draws a quick "that's pretty pricey" from Barbara Corcoran. She then asks what it cost to produce a Daisy Cake. Kim responds with $18.50 which Corcoran gives her nod of approval on the profit margin. What makes Kim such a good cake maker is, in her own words, "It's my God Given Talent". Good Answer!

Yes, that's a lasting impression that I won't soon forget. I also won't forget how Kevin put his arm around Barbara, If I didn't know any better, it looks like he kind of liked it.
