Security forces break up terror cell that planned to attack Jerusalem's busy outdoor mall
Israel's security forces have broken up a Hamas terror cell that planned to attack Israel's generally crowded Mamilla mall outside Jerusalem's Old City (Hat Tip: Shy Guy).
The terrorist operatives, residents of Ramallah and Jerusalem, were

Jerusalem allocates NIS 62 million for Ramat Shlomo infrastructure
Just last Tuesday, I reported that construction had been frozen in Ramat Shlomo, with budgets non-existent and existing residents unable to expand their homes. On Monday, the Jerusalem city council allocated NIS 62.4 million for infrastructure that will at least get new construction going in Ramat Shlomo. There is no word (in this article) on whether existing residents will finally be allowed

Lapid blasts his own government for trying to create affordable housing
Finance Minist4er Yair Lapid has blasted his own government for putting out tenders for 1,187 housing units in 'east' Jerusalem and in the 'settlement blocs.'
According to the ministry, 793 of the new homes will be in Jewish
neighborhoods of east Jerusalem. It includes 400 new units in Gilo, 210
in Har Homa and 183 in Pisgat Ze'ev.

Israel to EU: 'Take your guidelines and put them where the sun don't shine'
Israel has rejected the European Union's guidelines that exclude Judea and Samaria from Israel. The government decided today that it will not enter into any agreements with Europe that are based upon the new guidelines. The government also accused the Europeans of 'significantly damaging' the 'peace process' with the 'Palestinians' by publishing the guidelines.
