Danon: Netanyahu has no place in the Likud

Oh my....

Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu has "no place in Likud" should he sign a peace deal with the
Palestinians, Deputy Defense Minister and Likud MK Danny Danon said on
Sunday.

Speaking to an audience of Likud activists in
Judea and Samaria, Danon, who won the fifth spot on the Likud party list
and who chairs the Likud Central Committee, was critical of the prime

'Palestinians'' seek gripe session with Kerry

This is how US Secretary of State John Kerry is spending his time. No, not trying to rally support for a US strike on Syria. Instead, Kerry is spending his time listening to 'Palestinian' gripes over the 'peace process.'

The Palestinians are busily seeking to arrange a meeting between PA
Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and US Secretary of State John Kerry, Ramallah’s
foreign minister, Riyad al-Maliki

78% of Israeli Jews: 'Palestinians' won't see peace agreement as end of conflict

The monthly peace index for August is out, and to me this is the most striking finding.

Peace Agreement as End of Conflict: 78% of Jewish
respondents do not believe that the Palestinians would truly see the
signing of a peace agreement as marking the end of the conflict, while
20% do. 48% of Arab respondents do not believe so either, and 44% do
believe the peace agreement would mark the

One of three killed in Kalandia at 7:00 am Monday was UNRWA employee

It is being claimed that one of the three 'Palestinians' who was killed in Kalandia on Monday was an UNRWA employee.

Chris Gunness said that the employee, who he did not identify by
name, was shot dead by Israeli forces and killed instantly in an
operation in Qalandia refugee camp at about 7 a.m.

He cited reports that the 34-year-old father of four was on his way to work and not involved

Report: Meeting took place before Kalandia violence

Giving partial cover to the 'Palestinians' (who still told a lie no matter how you slice it), JPost is reporting that Justice Minister Tzipi Livni and 'Palestinian' chief negotiator bottle washer Saeb Erekat met before Monday's violence in Kalandia.

Israeli and Palestinian officials met Monday morning before the
Kalandiya incident, the reason Israeli officials declined throughout the
day to

Surprise: 'Palestinians' lied about breaking off negotiations

In an earlier post, I reported that the 'Palestinians' had canceled a 'negotiating session' with their Israeli interlocutors on Monday, to protest the deaths of three 'Palestinians' in riots in Kalandia, just outside Jerusalem on Monday morning.

It turns out that the cancellation may have been a lie invented by the 'Palestinians' to satisfy the 'Palestinian street' and that the 'negotiations'

Breaking: Three 'Palestinians' killed in Kalandia, 'peace talks' shelved (with video)

#BreakingNews: Mideast peace meet shelved over deaths: Palestinian official. #Israel #Palestine

On Monday morning, three 'Palestinians' were killed in a riot at the Kalandia checkpoint outside Jerusalem when the IDF and border police came under attack by hundreds of 'Palestinians' while making an arrest. As  you can see from the tweet above,

And you didn't think anyone was that blind anymore

On Sunday, Prime Minister Netanyahu found himself in the awkward position of having to explain to French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius that Israel's conflict with the 'Palestinians' is not the central conflict of the Middle East.

The root of the area’s instability, Netanyahu said in a public
statement made alongside Fabius before the two met in Jerusalem, is the regional
rejection of

Kerry consulting with umbrella group for Muslim terrorism on 'peace process'

According to the group's web site, US Secretary of State John Kerry and US National Security Adviser Susan Rice consulted regarding the 'peace process' last week with representatives of the Islamic Society of North America.

The group expressed their optimism in this process and hope that with
further commitment from the Obama administration as the lead broker, as
well as willingness from

The end of the 'Palestinian Authority'?

For the umpteenth time, the United Nations representative to the 'peace talks,' Robert Serry, assures us that the sky is falling. According to Serry, if the current talks do not result in a 'Palestinian state,' the 'Palestinian Authority' will collapse.

In remarks broadcast on Israel Radio, Robert Serry said that the urgency
of the hour gives him hope that both sides will approach this

Abu Bluff seethes: No 'progress' in 'talks'

'Moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen whined to a delegation of Meretz MK's on Thursday that no 'progress' is being made in the 'talks.' Israel isn't willing to commit suicide quickly enough.

Abbas told a visiting delegation of Meretz representatives, headed by
MK Zehava Gal-On that the Palestinian people are ready for peace but
that there cannot be an interim

Ketzaleh: Government agreed to destroy eight communities near Shchem (Nablus) as part of 'interim agreement'

Former National Religious Party MK Yaakov Ketzaleh Katz is calling upon the Jewish Home party (the successor to the National Religious Party) to depose party chairman Naftali Bennett on the grounds that Bennett has agreed to an interim agreement with the 'Palestinians' that would see eight established Jewish communities around Shchem (Nablus) destroyed and their inhabitants expelled at the end

Bennett: 'The truth is that the idea of a Palestinian state... is dead. The idea... has been proven as a killing machine'

This ought to endear Jewish Home party leader Naftali Bennett to Tzipi Livni and to the Obama administration. He says that the idea of a 'Palestinian state' is dead, and that it has been proven to be a killing machine.

“I’m aware that the Israeli government is conducting
negotiations with Abu Mazen,” Bennett wrote about Palestinian Authority chairman
Mahmoud Abbas.

“I do not believe

'Palestinians' seethe, Israelis satisfied over Indyk's absence

The 'Palestinians' are seething at US facilitator Martin Indyk's exclusion from the 'peace talks' that are taking place in Israel, but the Israelis, who were never happy with Indyk's role, are quite pleased with his absence.

An Israeli source noted that the Palestinians are claiming that Indyk
should be actively involved in talks and should be sitting at the
negotiating table. Palestinian

The Costanza doctrine

I left the US 22 years ago, and I really no longer watch television at all, so this was enlightening to me. How many of you are familiar with the Costanza doctrine from the popular television hit Seinfeld?

Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Shy Guy).

So what does the Costanza doctrine have to do with Israel and the Middle East? Adam Turner suggests that the Obama administration should adopt

Joe Biden's revenge: Building suspended in Ramat Shlomo

Remember when Joe Biden went bezerk over Jewish building in Jerusalem's Ramat Shlomo neighborhood when he was here three years ago? The plans for part of that building were finally approved in December 2012 after a delay because of the whole Biden affair. The bulk of the 1,500 new apartments that had received a preliminary approval while Biden was here were never finally approved.

Now, Merkaz

'Palestinians': US letter guaranteed our preconditions, Europeans published guidelines to entice us to talks

'Palestinian' chief negotiator bottle washer Saeb Erekat claims that the 'Palestinians' would not have returned to the 'negotiating' table without a letter of assurances from the United States that all of their preconditions would be met.

In a lengthy interview with Nazareth-based A-Shams radio, Erekat said
that the US had assured Palestinians in writing that talks would
recognize the pre-

Coalition crisis ahead: Livni complains to Israel Radio that 'Jewish Home' hinders peace

You could have seen this coming a mile away. Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, who is leading the 'peace talks,' complained to Israel Radio on Tuesday that having the 'Jewish Home' party in the coalition is 'hindering peace.'

Israel’s lead negotiator in peace talks with the Palestinian
Authority urged Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday to replace
the religious-nationalist Bayit Yehudi

Official 'Palestinian Authority' radio: 'One day, there will be no Israel'

When US Secretary of State John Kerry put together the current round of 'peace talks,' he neglected to tell the 'Palestinians' that there can't be any peace if there is continued incitement. But then. it might not have mattered much anyway, because the 'Palestinians' have no interest in peace. In that case, we have to wonder why the morons who make up the Israeli government voted to release 26
