One of three killed in Kalandia at 7:00 am Monday was UNRWA employee

It is being claimed that one of the three 'Palestinians' who was killed in Kalandia on Monday was an UNRWA employee.

Chris Gunness said that the employee, who he did not identify by
name, was shot dead by Israeli forces and killed instantly in an
operation in Qalandia refugee camp at about 7 a.m.

He cited reports that the 34-year-old father of four was on his way to work and not involved

Bennett: 'The truth is that the idea of a Palestinian state... is dead. The idea... has been proven as a killing machine'

This ought to endear Jewish Home party leader Naftali Bennett to Tzipi Livni and to the Obama administration. He says that the idea of a 'Palestinian state' is dead, and that it has been proven to be a killing machine.

“I’m aware that the Israeli government is conducting
negotiations with Abu Mazen,” Bennett wrote about Palestinian Authority chairman
Mahmoud Abbas.

“I do not believe

Coalition crisis ahead: Livni complains to Israel Radio that 'Jewish Home' hinders peace

You could have seen this coming a mile away. Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, who is leading the 'peace talks,' complained to Israel Radio on Tuesday that having the 'Jewish Home' party in the coalition is 'hindering peace.'

Israel’s lead negotiator in peace talks with the Palestinian
Authority urged Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday to replace
the religious-nationalist Bayit Yehudi

Why the 'peace talks' are being held in secret

Silly me. I thought that the reason that the 'peace talks' were being held in secretive locations without a media presence and without press briefings was so that we wouldn't realize that Netanyahu, Livni and Netanyahu's attorney, Yitzchak Molcho, were giving the country away until it was a fait accomplis. I was wrong.

Khaled Abu Toameh reports that the real reason that the talks are being

How Peres duped Israel again

Take this with a grain of salt, because it is the Sunday Times of London, but Shimon Peres, who negotiated the Oslo Accords behind Yitzchak Rabin's back, played a major role in the current 'negotiations' getting started, apparently behind Binyamin Netanyahu's back. This was behind a paywall, but I got it by email.

SECRET talks in the Jordanian capital, Amman, earlier this year between Shimon

Kerry says all 'settlements' are illegitimate

US Secretary of State John Kerry is saying all the 'right' things to keep the 'Palestinians' at the table despite Israel's announcement that it is building nearly 1,200 new apartments in 'east' Jerusalem and environs.

US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Monday that Israel's announcement of new settlements
in the West Bank and east Jerusalem "were to some degree expected," and
urged

Names released: 26 'Palestinian' terrorists to be released before Wednesday's 'negotiations'

The names of the 26 'Palestinian' terrorists to be released before Wednesday's 'negotiations' between 'justice minister' Tzipi Livni and 'Palestinian' chief negotiator bottle washer Saeb Erekat were published during the night. What's most striking about the list is that every single person on it was convicted of either murder, attempted murder or being an accessory to murder. The public now has

Caroline Glick blasts Netanyahu as a 'true believer'

Caroline Glick worries that Binyamin Netanyahu has become another Ariel Sharon (Hat Tip: Dan F).
Standing next to US Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday morning, Justice
Minister Tzipi Livni gushed that through his indefatigable efforts to bring
Israeli and Palestinian officials to Washington, Kerry proved that “nothing can
stop true believers.”As usual, the cognitively challenged Livni

They're going to discuss all the issues, but which one will come first?

Anyone want to caption the picture? Saeb is either cross-eyed or has a lazy eye....

I'm sure you'll all be shocked to hear that news of the 'talks' is leaking out despite John Kerry telling the cameras that he would be the only one to discuss them. I'm sure you'll be even more shocked to hear that while the parties have in fact agreed to discuss all the issues, there's a dispute about the

Livni: Coalition members have 'collective responsibility' to blindly support 'peace process'

Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, whose party has six of the 68 seats in the coalition, is insisting that the other members of the coalition have a 'collective responsibility' to blindly support the 'peace process.'

Livni, speaking to Army Radio, appeared to be directing her comments at
Bayit Yehudi Leader Naftali Bennett and former foreign minister and
Israel Beytenu chief Avigdor Liberman's

Tzipi Livni converts to Islam?

Is Tzipi Livni converting to Islam? That's sure what it sounds like. She is sharing the Iftar dinner (the meal at the end of each day's fast in Ramadamadan) with US Secretary of State John Kerry on Monday.

Secretary of State John Kerry will host "an Iftar dinner for Israeli
Justice Minister Tzipi Livni," according to a copy of his schedule
released by the State Department. The dinner will

Only in Israel: Women (rights) gone wild

This could only happen in Israel. With a woman (Tzipi Livni) heading the 'negotiations' with the 'Palestinians,' Prime Minister Netanyahu is being pressured to ensure that half of the negotiating team consists of women.

The group, made up of feminist organizations and activists, including
WIZO and Na'amat, based its name on UN Resolution 1325, which urged
member states to give women a role
