Yesh Atid MK Ofer Shelah: 'Jewish and democratic is an oxymoron'



Nearly thirty years ago, the Knesset passed a law banning from Knesset elections parties that refuse to accept the 'Jewish and democratic nature' of the State of Israel. The law targeted, and was used to ban, Rabbi Meir Kahane HY"D's (May God Avenge his blood) Kach party from the 1984 Knesset elections.

Ketzaleh: Government agreed to destroy eight communities near Shchem (Nablus) as part of 'interim agreement'

Coalition crisis ahead: Livni complains to Israel Radio that 'Jewish Home' hinders peace

An 'unparalleled' disgrace, but to leave the government over it?



Jewish Home party MK Nissan Slomiansky slammed Sunday's cabinet decision to release 104 terrorist murderers just to induce the 'Palestinians' to come to the table and talk. But he didn't slam his own party for continuing to sit in the government that made that decision. He slammed the Americans and the West.
