Egypt's message to the world

Please tell me that this picture - posted by Roger Simon - doesn't say it all:

A truck bomb destroyed a cargo ship in the port of Umm Qasr, near Basra, Iraq on Saturday.

Shipping traffic was
unaffected by a truck bomb at Iraq's southern Umm Qasr

Should we laugh or cry?

'Our friends the Saudis,' the nurturers of 19 out of the 20 9/11 hijackers, have donated $100 million to the United Nations' counterterrorism efforts. Here's US Secretary of State John Kerry.

We welcome and applaud today’s $100 million donation by His Majesty
King Abdullah, on behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to the UN Centre
on Counterterrorism (UNCCT).

Mosque fashion

Every day shirts like this are mass produced, marketed and sold by street
vendors through out the Middle East and it's simply OK..
The mass-murder of 9-11 is a celebrated event by millions of Muslim people.
Funny how racism and offending other races only applies to whites and non
Muslims!

We can always count on the Americans to do the right thing, after they have exhausted all the other possibilities

The quote in the title of this post is a quip of Winston Churchill's, and honestly I don't think it's true in this administration. Obama won't do the right thing until it's too late, if at all. Here's Caroline Glick.

The US and Europe are not taken in by Iran because Iran is good at hiding its true intentions. They
are taken in by Iran because they want to be taken in. They want to

US orders its citizens out of Yemen as al-Qaeda develops exploding clothes

Remember the underwear bomber (pictured)? He's in the news again. You'll see why in a minute.

After a drone strike killed four al-Qaeda terrorists in Yemen, the United States has ordered all its citizens and all 'non-essential personnel' to leave that country immediately.

The U.S. Department of State warns U.S. citizens of the high security
threat level in Yemen due to terrorist

Obama talked too much about al-Qaeda threat again?

US intelligence agencies are worried that President Obama has revealed too much regarding the al-Qaeda activity that led to the worldwide travel warnings for American citizens on Friday.

But first, let's go to the videotape for some background. More after the video.

On Saturday, unnamed U.S. officials told media outlets Yemeni intelligence agencies alerted Washington to the threat during

I'm apologizing to President Obama, and Jonathan Tobin should too

Last week, I blogged a brilliant piece by Jonathan Tobin, in which he took President Obama to task for asking Israel to release terrorists in exchange for nothing, which is something that Obama obviously would never do himself.

The fact is the United States would never consider such a request for
a minute, no matter the diplomatic gains to be garnered from that sort
of concession elsewhere

Al-Qaeda is no more?

And you believed President Obama when he said that the war on terror was won when Osama Bin Laden was assassinated. The United States has now issued a global travel alert out of fear of... attacks by al-Qaeda against US citizens (Hat Tip: Jihad Watch).

"There is a significant threat stream and we're reacting to it," said
Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He told ABC

Smoking gun?

Perhaps this is what finally convinced the European Union to ban Hezbullah's 'military wing.' A Bulgarian newspaper reported on Friday that Hezbullah transferred approximately $100,000 to the two terrorists (who were named by Bulgarian authorities last week) who carried out last summer's Burgas terror attack.

Hezbollah’s military wing transferred about $100,000 to of the two suspects in
