Hamas furious at Egyptian apartheid buffer zone in Rafah
Hamas is furious because Egypt is creating a buffer zone in Rafah between itself and Gaza, which will make smuggling tunnels much harder to dig and operate.
Ehab Ghissin, spokesman for the Hamas government, said that there
should be no buffer zones “between brothers and friendly
countries.”
Ghissin expressed hope that the Egyptian move would not
“solidify the blockade” and increase the

Abu Mazen threatens to stop funding Gaza
Israel's Channel 2 reported on Saturday night (surprisingly, it has not been picked up anywhere else that I saw) that 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen has decided to hold elections for the 'Presidency' and 'Parliament.' He is threatening that if Hamas does not participate, he will declare the Gaza Strip to be in revolt and will stop sending money there. Most of the '

Why didn't we think of doing that? Oh wait, we did....
A lawsuit in an Egyptian court demands that Egypt stop supplying electricity to Gaza (link in Arabic, Google translation here).
The

Egypt shuts Gaza border indefinitely, world silent
Egypt has indefinitely shut the Rafah border crossing that provides the only exit from the strip for Gazans, stranding 'hundreds' of Gazans on the other side in the process. Of course, since it's not Israel that's doing this, the world is silent.
The move could mark a dramatic escalation in
the closures faced by Gaza’s residents. Rafah is the Gaza Strip’s only
exit point not controlled by

FIFA, the world soccer federation, is threatening to expel Israel over its refusal to allow 12 Arab National Federation teams into the 'Palestinian territories' to play in the West Asian Football Federation under-17 championship tournament that was due to begin on Thursday. Huh? IDF letting two Turkish groups visit Gaza
Despite Turkey breaking its agreement to normalize relations with Israel and despite Egypt refusing to allow Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan into Gaza, the IDF is going to let two Turkish groups visit the Islamist enclave. In fact, one of them seems to have visited already (Hat Tip: Joshua I).
The Turkish groups include a
delegation from the Turkish Red Crescent Society. The group

Egypt tells Erdogan to stay home
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan surely misses his old buddy and pal, ousted Egyptian President Mohammed Morsy. I, on the other hand, am taking a liking to Egypt's new military rulers. On Sunday, the Egyptian army told Erdogan to stay home. They're not going to let him in for a provocative visit to Gaza either.
Egyptian media is reporting on Sunday that Turkish Prime Minister

It starts: 'Palestinian' terrorists shoot rocket at western Negev
The 'peace talks' have started and so has the 'Palestinian' rocket fire.
Several hours after Israel and the Palestinians resumed peace talks in Washington,
Gaza's
terror groups sent a message of their own. A Qassam
rocket exploded in an open area at the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council
on Tuesday morning. No injuries or damage were reported.
