Thin Gloss - April Morris Update

Thin Gloss Shark Tank Update

Weight Loss Thin Gloss
Shark Tank Update
April Morris Appearing on the
Shark Tank Show in Season 1
If pure inspiration is the secret to success, then April Morris the inventor of Thin Gloss, is one of the most Successful Entrepreneur's ever seen on the Shark Tank. But it would be my luck while searching my Shark Tank Season list's that I would run across two contestants in a row where the product has disappeared and seems to of failed.

The Thin Gloss story seems to of taken a turn unlike any product ever seen on the Shark Tank Show. It made April Morris a success just like She always envisioned, and then She gave it all up.

April Morris and Thin Gloss was featured on the Shark Tank in Season 1 during the last episode 15. She claimed in so many words that Thin Gloss could help lose weight by applying this lip gloss. The Sharks instantly knew this product would never get FDA approval without several very costly independent studies to verify you really could lose weight with April's product. She never came right out and said the Thin Gloss product would help you lose weight, but the picture's clearly implied otherwise which Kevin Harrington pointed out. The short story is April Morris did not get a deal on the Show.Read More Here-->>>

Mix Bikini

Mix Bikini Shark Tank Update

Mix and Match Bikini - Season 3 - Episode 315
Mix Bikini Shark Tank Update Season 3 Episode 315
Frank Scozzafava Inventor of Mix Bikini
Tough Job but someone has to do it!
The Mix Bikini Brand allows you to mix and match bikini parts into over 5000 combinations. The more interchangeable parts you acquire, the more options you have to create a brand new look every time you head to the beach. I must say they do look good on the models and seem to fit in all the right places.

Frank Scozzafava and Adam DiSilvestro came into the Shark Tank looking for a $50,000.00 investment in their creative bikini line, but for only 5% equity stake in the business. Each interchangeable part of the swimsuit is sold separately which you will need at least 4 to complete a brand new look. To create your own unique bikini costs between $40-$60 retail.

With starting off negotiations with a 5% stake in the business or $1 million valuation, was soon changed to 10% and quickly cut it in half down to $500k. The male Sharks seemed a little concerned how there was no real business plan in place and no sales to put a value so high on a brand new start up.Read More Here-->>>

Fridge Fronts Update

Fridge Fronts on the Shark Tank

Magnetic Refrigerator Skins - Season 1 Episode 15 - Update
Refrigerator Fridge Fronts season 1, episode 15
Jan Augenstein Demonstrates the
Fridge Fronts on the Shark Tank Show
The Magnetic Fridge Fronts is a really cool invention that turns any of your appliances (Refrigerators, Stoves, Washing Machines or any large metal surface) into a work of art. In a matter of just a few minutes you can transform your kitchen into a brand new look using any number of picture perfect scene's.

Jan Augenstein came into the Shark Tank needing a $100,000.00 for a 30% stake in the Fridge Front Business. She got her inspiration for this now patented idea when Jan was a Military wife living on Base and wanted an inexpensive way to spruce up the kitchen. It was such a good idea that Jan's Brother partnered with her and so far has sunk $250,000.00 into getting this business off the ground.

Jan brings out a less then desirable looking refrigerator and proceeds to completely transform the front in a matter of seconds. The magnetic backing can easily be taken right off and replaced with a very impressive list of other fridge fronts already to choose from. In 2005 Augenstein had her invention on Sky Mall catalog where they did $40,000.00 in sales, but it cost them $18k to occupy that space which ran them into the red.

In 2008 the Queen of the Kitchen, Rachael Ray ran an episode where the Fridge Fronts were featured on her TV show in front of millions of viewers. Read More Here-->>>

My Cold Snap

My Cold Snap on Shark Tank

Hand Held Cooler Season 4 Episode 415 - 2/8/2013

My Cold Snap season4, episode 15
My Cold Snap Handheld Cooler
My Cold Snap inventors Carlos Ortiz and Scott Duff have a plan to battle our nations fight against hot beer one cold snap at a time. These hand held cooler's were developed by the two college buddies with lots of experience at college parties trying to keep their beer from going warm.  The idea to solve this major problem beer drinkers face all over the world didn't come from one of the parties but out on the golf course.

According to My Cold Snap Face Book Page, it is a mandated Texas Law to enjoy a few beer's while playing a round of golf. In the Texas heat a nice cold beer can get hot rather fast which can drastically effect your game from chugging beers before they get to warm. This is the only known way, until now, that you are guaranteed a nice cold beer coming right out of the cooler. The Cooler! Ah Yes, there lies the solution, a small cooler specifically made to fit a beer can, soda can or any bottle you want to stay ice cold.

Power Decal's

Power Decal on Shark Tank Show

Wireless Light Up Power Decals - Season 1 - Episode 15 - Update

Make a deal with Daymond John on Shark Tank Show The Power Decal is one of those inventions that you just know will succeed if marketed and licensed properly. A peel off sticker that lights up from a solar power source, ya that's a cool invention alright. George Podd and Rolf Schwartz went into the Shark Tank very confident with their product they called Light Film that has since been renamed and re-branded as Power Decal. The Power Decal has a motion sensor built into the light up decal which brightly displays the sticker.

George Podd and Rolf Schwartz was asking $100k for a 5% stake in their patented Power Decals which put the valuation at $2 million. They demonstrated a generation 1 Power Decal that was hooked up to a wired power source (a battery) to light up the peel and stick sticker. They quickly pointed out that the generation 2 Power Decals would be wireless and solar powered which got a lot more interest from the Sharks. Podd, the inventor of the Power Decal, had zero in sales and has already sank $750k into this invention. They can make the generation 2 Power Decals for $5 or less and retail's for $19.99 which is a decent profit margin in any ones book.  Everything is ready to go and all they need is the licensing deals to make the Power Decal a huge success.
