US slams Erdogan's remarks
In an earlier post, I reported that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had claimed that Israel is behind the coup in Egypt. The United States has now condemned those remarks.

Human reflex?
The Israeli national soccer team played the Ukrainian national soccer team in the Ukraine on Wednesday.
A bunch of Ukranian kids were brought onto the pitch for the national anthems.

Only in Israel: Plane turns back to get cancer patient
I don't believe this could have happened anywhere other than the Jewish state.
An 11-year old fighting cancer was traveling to New York for a summer camp run by Chai Lifeline, a group that has been encouraging cancer patients to fight for their lives for the last 20 years. The girl's passport was misplaced and she had to get off the plane. Then, the passport was found.

Turkey encourages its citizens to spy on each other
The government of Turkey is encouraging its citizens to spy on each other.
Last week, police announced plans to install neighborhood informant
boxes in cities across Turkey. Dubbed the Confidential Police Notice
Point Project, the move will allow residents to submit anonymous written
and oral tips on their neighbors. Picture a small black box on the
